Hayley Orrantia was the winner of the Texas Music Project Lone Starz Rising competition for the State Fair of Texas 2008. Hayley is the new ambassador for Texas Music Project and the organization's efforts to raise funds and awareness to support music education in Texas schools

Hayley Orrantia is a 15 year old singer, songwriter and actress from Highland Village, Texas. She has been singing since she was 9 years old and already has performed numerous times at many of the best known festivals and events in the area. Hayley was the winner of an online song competition at OurStage.com which was sponsored by the Texas Music Project that gave her the chance to perform on the main stage at the Texas State Fair and open for Hollywood Records artist Jordan Pruitt. She has opened for High School Musical star Drew Seeley and performed as a solo act on the main stages at GrapeFest, and MayFest, as well as other events across Dallas/Fort Worth. Hayley has been working with Emmy and Grammy nominated songwriters in both Nashville and LA and is currently working on her first CD of original music.
