Delbert McClinton, a native of Lubbock, Texas, is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player and has been a solo artist since 1962. McClinton has produced a number of popular songs, and in 1992, he won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal for the duet he recorded with country/rock musician Bonnie Raitt titled “Good Man, Good Woman.” His latest album, “Room to Breath,” was released in 2002 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Album Chart. In addition, the readers of BluesWax, a blues music publication, recently selected “Room to Breathe” as Blues Album of the Year.
