Donate/Buy CD

Get a great CD featuring an all-star group of Texas musicians AND help more Texas kids get quality music education at school. All proceeds will be benefit music education in Texas schools. All the artists on the “Don’t Mess with Texas Music” CD, and their record labels and publishing companies are supporting the Texas Music Project by foregoing their royalties

Shop at Tom Thumb or Randalls Food Stores

All you need is a Tom Thumb/Randalls Reward Card (free) and the Texas Music Project Account Number 10587. Simply fill out the Good Neighbor section on the top part of a Reward Card Application available at the Service Center, indicate the Texas Music Project Account Number 10587, and return it to the Courtesy Booth. The purchase price of all groceries purchased when you use the Reward Card will automatically be recorded and Tom Thumb/Randalls will send a check to TMP for 1% of the total purchases made throughout Texas each quarter. If you already have a Reward Card, simply get a new application at the Service Center, indicate the Texas Music Project Account Number 10587 and indicate you current card number and other information. This is an extremely powerful and easy way to contribute without dipping further into our own pocketbooks. Please sign up at Tom Thumb/Randalls now, and encourage your friends, family, teachers and everyone in your organization to do the same. Funding for our school music programs is shrinking more every day.

Volunteer

Texas Music Project needs volunteers to help coordinate and implement music education awareness and fundraising efforts in your local community. You will probably get to hear some great Texas music in the process. To volunteer or get more information, Contact us.

“Don’t Mess with Texas Music” CD’s are available to schools and other non-profit groups to use as fundraisers. Contact us to learn how to take advantage of this unique opportunity.

Texas Musicians/Bands

TMP relies on the generosity of the Texas music community to create “Don’t Mess with Texas Music” CDs and benefit concerts. Many of the artists supporting TMP don’t need the exposure, and are simply committed to doing the right thing to help music education in Texas schools. But for all supporting artists, TMP will provide performance opportunities as well as recognition on our website, CD and press releases. While we cannot guarantee we will be able to get you on one of our stages or include you in our CD, we promise to listen to every CD you send. Contact us.

Clubs & Performance Venues

The best places for live music in the state are joining the Texas Music Project to benefit music education in your local schools. If you operate a club, festival stage or performance hall and are interested in learning more about the TMP Live Music Network contact us, and check out the venues who have already joined. Convention & Visitor Bureaus

CVB’s can benefit from the TMP is several ways. We offer discounted prices on our CD’s and T-shirts so they may be sold in gift shops, distributed to convention planners and given to convention attendees as gifts.
