First Place

SYDNEY HARDING-SLOAN

14 years old
Attends: Lakehill Preparatory School in Dallas, Texas.

Sydney discovered her love for singing when she was only 4 years old and heard singer Charlotte Church's debut on Oprah. She imitated Church while in the bathtub later that night and has been singing since.
She is influenced by a variety of artists and looks for guidance and inspiration through soulsters like Stevie Wonder, Norah Jones, Joss Stone, John Mayer, and Adele, to only name a few.
Sydney's love of singing is paired with her interest in the performing arts. In the summer months she attends The Dallas Summer Musical Theater camp at the Majestic Theater. She is a member of The Lakehill Choir and The Ensemble Choir and can always be found performing in the school's Musical Theater performances.
She is very excited to be involved with such an important charity as TMP in helping other young artists find their voice and music talent in the public school systems throughout Texas.

Second Place

SYDNEY KANE

12 year-old Sydney Kane, has a souful, atypical tween sound with looks equally as striking. Her expressive brown eyes and matching dark curly hair, pair up for a very attractive young artist who loves to move! Sydney enjoys putting her very powerful vocals on her favorites, such as Beyonce, Ella Fitzgerald and Jennifer Hudson! Sydney's old-style sense-of-humor and zest for life shows up on stage reminding us of a modern-day Lucille Ball. Sydney loves fun and can turn any audience into a party! Having a young, "Christina Aguilera" voice, Sydney is just 12 years-old and already has the confidence of a well-seasoned performer!

Third Place

STANHOPE

Despite their young age of seventeen, Stanhope, deriving from the suburbs of Dallas, Texas, has been through quite a lot as a band. Their pop punk anthems have kept their entire community of Highland Park on the edge of their seats since 2005 with their performances everywhere from their local church to the State Fair of Texas. Their latest album, "make here", will be available in late October. Their names are Blake, Will, Bragg, and Jackson, and they are Stanhope.
